The Beneficial Effects of Photobiomodulation to Reduce Intraocular Pressure in Primary Open-Angle Glaucoma

Purpose: The aim of this trail was to study the efficacy photobiomodulation (PBM) treatment reduce intraocular pressure in subjects with primary open angle glaucoma disease.
 Methods: Twenty eyes suffering from high IOP level were selected, examined and treated Thera-RED light diode system. divided into two groups (n=10); placebo group respectively; system provide lights (red at 660n.m continue Near IR micro-pulsed 850 n.m), patients received series (ten per month within three months between every sessions) over five follow up taking ocular measurements after delivery session.
 Results: A significant decrease has been observed first compared (from 22.6mmHg before 15 mmHg tenth session) amelioration also remarked during second session (fifth month) attempt 14.2 mmHg. 
 Conclusion: shows a remained be stable under all up, which confirm that help reducing glaucomatous .
